Charlie lost his left arm at the age of 13 in a hunting accident on October 2, 1971.
His family moved to Rapid City, SD, in June of 1972, just days after the Rapid City flood.
He leaves behind his wife, Lynne, son, Ryan, daughters; Kelly, Roberta and Lynnette, sisters; Marcy and Mary Lou, and many friends.
A graveside service will be held, pm Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with a celebration of his life to follow at the Veterans Club in Sturgis.
He spent his early growing up years in Lake Crystal, MN.

Qualley (Jason) of Bloomington, IN; Jon Richards (Adriana) of Deerborn Heights, MI; Ryan Richards (Charity) of Redford, MI; Jennifer Mc Kenny (Jon) of Inwood, IA; Alecia Ellerkamp (Andy) of Culbertson, MT; Jasmine Kaskie (John) of Le Mars, IA; Zach Richards (Carmen) of Moorcroft, WY; Kyle Richards of Emporia, KS; and Brooke Richards of Spearfish, SD; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

Services for Cheryl will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead, SD, on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at a.m.
Graveside rites will follow at the Mountain Lawn Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cheryls life.
